Nose Surgery

Generally speaking after nasal surgery the downtime is one week.  During the week after surgery patients will take it easy and have paper thin internal splints and external splints removed on the 7th postop day.  After removal of the splints, the patient will continue to have some crusting and will be instructed not to perform strenuous activity. After the two weeks patients may resume their normal activity and routines.
